We are currently recruiting Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to provide high-quality, person-centred care to vulnerable adults in a range of care settings.
🔹 Role Overview
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their day-to-day needs, promoting independence, and ensuring care is delivered with dignity, compassion, and respect. You will work alongside nurses and other professionals within a supportive team environment.
🔹 What You’ll Do
• Provide safe, compassionate, and person-centred care
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, nutrition, and hydration
• Support with medication prompts and accurate record-keeping
• Observe and report changes in a client’s physical or emotional wellbeing
• Promote independence, confidence, and choice through positive encouragement
• Build trusting relationships while maintaining professional boundaries and respect
🔹 What You’ll Bring
• Minimum 6 months’ experience as a Healthcare Assistant or in a care/support role
• Confidence supporting individuals with physical disabilities, dementia, or complex needs
• Knowledge of safeguarding, dignity in care, and person-centred approaches
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and observational skills
• Flexibility to work shifts including days, evenings, weekends, nights, and sleepovers (enhanced pay applies)
🔹 Requirements
• SSSC registration (or willingness to register)
• PVG Scheme membership for working with adults (support available if not already enrolled)
• Valid driver’s licence desirable but not essential
• Commitment to training, supervision, and continuous professional development
